About the role

  • Design and analyze mechanical components throughout the gas power product portfolio
  • Perform thermal, stress, and modal analysis of components
  • Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs
  • Create design documentation, including drawings, layouts, and diagrams
  • Support root cause analysis and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs
  • Take technical ownership of mechanical hardware
  • Participate in peer and design reviews

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Aeronautical Engineering
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, execution, and process rigor
  • Open-minded, self-motivated, and empowered to challenge thinking
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating within a team and with customers
  • Ability to rapidly shift priorities based on business needs
  • Strong organizational skills, communicating with transparency
  • Familiar with AI and possess a continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with ANSYS, NX, Python, VBA, and other analytical tools
