About the role
- Design and analyze mechanical components throughout the gas power product portfolio
- Perform thermal, stress, and modal analysis of components
- Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs
- Create design documentation, including drawings, layouts, and diagrams
- Support root cause analysis and develop corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs
- Take technical ownership of mechanical hardware
- Participate in peer and design reviews
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Aeronautical Engineering
- Strong focus on safety, quality, execution, and process rigor
- Open-minded, self-motivated, and empowered to challenge thinking
- Demonstrated capability in collaborating within a team and with customers
- Ability to rapidly shift priorities based on business needs
- Strong organizational skills, communicating with transparency
- Familiar with AI and possess a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with ANSYS, NX, Python, VBA, and other analytical tools
