About the role
- Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors
- Manage project work schedules and priorities
- Mentor and provide technical leadership in area of expertise to other engineers and projects
- Support drafting of civil and mechanical design and/or equipment construction activities
- Review and approve vendor document submittals
- Support certification processes for GE Products
- Establish and maintain technical oversight of applicable regulations
- Interface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, licensing, the NRC and international regulatory authorities on technical issues
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
- Master’s Degree or greater in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or University preferred
- Minimum of 5-8 years of Nuclear or Industrial Technology or Engineering experience is preferred
- Nuclear Industry knowledge / experience
- Strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, BWR core/fuel material behavior, and mechanical or structural design fundamentals
- Professional Engineer registration in one or more states
