About the role
- Provide project leadership and guidance from project conception through to project delivery;
- Conduct project feedback reviews at the appropriate time.
- Development and management of costs with ongoing estimates to completion of projects.
- Development, planning and management of the project schedules and payment milestones.
- Providing contingency planning where required.
- Managing the contractual scope content ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.
- Risk and Opportunity management; ensuring that all risks and issues are identified and mitigated.
- Communicate effectively with all the stakeholders; maintaining excellent relations with customers, peers, Engineering, and global teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
- 10 years of experience within the power generation or industrial manufacturing industry.
- 5 years of relevant project management (or similar) experience within the power generation or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Ability to gain unescorted access to a Nuclear power facility in Canada or U.S.
- Ability to travel, up to 30% annually, domestically and internationally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
- Ability to work at customer site as required.
