About the role
- Develop and execute cost execution plans (e.g., cost curves) by function.
- Generate weekly and monthly detailed cost reports by project scope.
- Monitor budget line items weekly and identify variances for escalation and mitigation.
- Maintain budget version control to ensure all agreed changes are reflected in the forecast.
- Collaborate with budget owners to estimate Cost to Complete based on actual costs, commitment costs, and potential variation orders.
- Work closely with the scheduler to align project schedules with cost curves.
- Prepare for PMR reviews on a quarterly/bi-annual basis with the business.
- Conduct risk & opportunity analyses and monitor project risks.
- Support the creation and implementation of new cost controlling mechanisms and structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Min. 5 years Proven experience in cost analysis, project management, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management software.
