About the role
- Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses
- Deliver products consistently in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Direct customer-facing opportunities through training, deliverables, and collaboration
- Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
- Provide engineering expertise, guidance, and technical mentoring
- Communicate and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers
- Implement continual improvement of transient analysis work processes
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
- At least 8 years of relevant nuclear experience
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. Degree in Engineering or Senior Reactor Operator Certification (preferred)
- Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
- Extensive knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
- Extensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles
