About the role

  • Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses
  • Deliver products consistently in accordance with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Direct customer-facing opportunities through training, deliverables, and collaboration
  • Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations
  • Provide engineering expertise, guidance, and technical mentoring
  • Communicate and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers
  • Implement continual improvement of transient analysis work processes

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
  • At least 8 years of relevant nuclear experience
  • Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled information
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. Degree in Engineering or Senior Reactor Operator Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes
  • Extensive knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response
  • Extensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles
