About the role
- Act as Point of Contact to all interfacing teams for ITR related matters in Steam Turbine Technology space for assigned Opportunities and Projects
- Provide technical guidance and/or review of work to individual ITR engineers in the team
- Manage escalations from internal and external customers
- Have a clear understanding of team workload and organize assignments to balance this workload
- Identify process gaps and development improvement plans to address these
- Resolves issues in situations using system level thinking, good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures
- Developing connections with interfacing organizations to ensure Agile team is developing value for customers
- Responsible for developing and sustainable rollout of continuous improvement initiatives within the ST Agile team
- Actively participate in Agile global and HDS ITR continuous improvement as required/assigned
Requirements
- advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Customer Project Engineering
- Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience) with 5+ years of experience
- Deep heavy duty Steam Turbine technology knowledge
- Deep understanding of Agile and CMU OTR processes and procedures
- Ability and desire to identify and implement continuous process improvements
- Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments
- Experience and demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment
- Strong customer focus mindset
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
