About the role

  • Work closely with Site Works Commodity Manager on commercial bids to align on commodity strategy, ensuring contractor evaluation and selection is completed in tender stage
  • Support RFQ package creation, review, and distribution to contractors
  • Perform comprehensive review and analysis of civil/electrical/mechanical contractor proposal packages
  • Support scheduling of project specific weekly/monthly contractor status calls and log detailed meeting minutes
  • Provide detailed project status updates to Site Works Commodity Manager
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expedite review and validation of RFIs and overall contractor packages
  • Collaborate with GE contract managers to review and refine contractor terms and conditions
  • Support negotiation of contractor proposal pricing, NDAs/MNDAs and master service agreements as well as project-specific agreements for civil and electrical project scopes
  • Drive KPIs: Deflation, DTP, Quality, Compliance, OTD
  • Support the sourcing and development of certified minority, veteran-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers to achieve customer requirements
  • Ensure compliance with ite contractor audits
  • Support the contractor onboarding process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a major construction project environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-construction and/or construction estimating
