About the role
- Leverage expertise in Sales and Account Management to develop strategic plans for growing Key Accounts
- Manage all senior relationships for identifying and supporting sales opportunities in North America
- Account leadership role responsible for leading the Grid Automation account strategy in all aspects of growth and profitability
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers at strategic accounts for supporting sales and commercial activities
- Develop Account Plans and execute commercial strategy for sales of Grid Automation product lines
- Collaborate with other GE Vernova account managers to ensure a 'one GE Vernova' engagement policy
- Provide leadership and support to the Commercial Team for closing large sales opportunities
- Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s)
- Drive identification, prospecting, creation and closure of sales opportunities
- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to product line marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Stem
- Minimum of 10 years of direct sales, account, or team leadership experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical / utility industry sales
- Minimum of 5 years experience account management
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
