Select suppliers through qualification processes
Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards
Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed
Works with the suppliers to support them in their continuous improvement processes as Corrective and Preventive Actions, FMEAs
Provides informal guidance to new team members
Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems
Requirements
Electrical or System Engineer Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related field
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
