About the role
- Use quality tools to identify the root cause of quality issues in internal manufacturing or warranty processes;
- Open containment, corrective, and preventive actions to ensure the treatment of nonconformities in internal or warranty processes;
- Assess the effectiveness of actions recorded in the Gensuite system to ensure their implementation within internal processes;
- Create and/or review records related to processes to ensure control during internal manufacturing operations;
- Lead meetings with the cross-functional team to review the month’s critical process cases for presentation to leadership;
- Perform screening of NCRs (nonconformance reports) and quality "Stop Works" to direct analyses, prioritizing the most critical cases;
- Conduct Weekly Dialogues (DS — Diálogo Semanal) on quality topics with the manufacturing operations team;
- Review documentation and quality control plans, update KPIs, and present them to partner areas;
- Conduct audits of special processes, products, or the quality management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, production, or related fields);
- Prior experience in the role;
- Knowledge of quality tools and management systems (MASP, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Brainstorming, and ISO 9001:2015);
- Familiarity with special manufacturing processes (welding, boilermaking/sheet-metal fabrication, machining, painting, and stamping);
- Advanced English;
- Advanced Excel;
- Availability to work on-site in Campinas/SP.
