About the role

Provide technical guidance to field engineers and service managers during outage planning and execution
Lead service center complex repairs on rotors, diaphragms, casings, valves, etc.
Be the single point of contact and technical interface for complex repairs projects
Responsible for meeting project on-time engineering deliverables and technical requirements
Provide inspection and test plans for site assembly/disassembly and service center repair scope
Lead and participate in the product qualification process

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in steam turbine service engineering
Minimum of 2+ years of field execution experience within the power generation industry
Good understanding of steam turbine and balance of plant systems and operations
Steam turbine rotating and stationary components inspection methods and repairs
Steam turbine disassembly, assembly, startups and operational exposure
