About the role
- Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition.
- Ensure that our transformer products are developed in accordance with the highest standards in design, quality, and manufacturing.
- Identify and mitigate design risks early in the process, ensuring robust and reliable solutions for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) applications.
- Provide technical support on FAT and Site issues.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to present and discuss our analysis with compelling arguments.
- Lead design review to ensure the product is designed according to design, quality & manufacturing best practices.
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge in power transformer electrical and mechanical design.
- Extensive Power Transformer Manufacturing knowledge and experience.
- Significant and demonstrated years of experience working within HVDC projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in FEA Analysis.
- Extensive continuous improvement and quality process knowledge and experience.
- Solid knowledge and experience on Site and FAT issues, RCA, DFMEA, Testing, Standardisation and Modularisation.
- Focus on Quality excellence and early risk identification and mitigation.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, an accomplished relationship-builder.
- Creative and Innovative mindset.
- Energetic, forward-thinking individual.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Pro-active and problem-solving attitude.
