About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end supply chain execution for assigned project scope, including equipment and spare parts for Balance of Plant, Heat Recovery Steam Generator, and Main Steam/Start-up Desuperheater systems
  • Define and implement project-specific sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with contract requirements, financing restrictions, commodity strategies, and approved supplier panels
  • Work with the Procurement Tendering Manager to review and refine purchasing approaches throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review baseline project timelines and partner with project schedulers to optimize sourcing milestones and on-time delivery
  • Manage supplier performance and compliance, including shipping records, manufacturing reports, certifications, quality monitoring, and expediting processes
  • Track supplier performance against Estimate at Completion and On-Time Delivery metrics
  • Lead cross-functional procurement reviews with project stakeholders
  • Manage the vendor list
  • Support contract and claim management activities
  • Serve as the primary contact for commercial, legal, and administrative procurement matters
  • Ensure smooth handover from tender phase to project execution
  • Verify procurement budgets with the Project Finance Manager
  • Maintain compliance with applicable quality and Environment, Health & Safety requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of leadership or team coordination experience in an industrial or project-driven environment
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or project management in an industrial setting
  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% as required
  • Must be proximal to Schenectady, NY; Atlanta, GA; or Greenville, SC
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience managing supply chain scope within large capital or infrastructure projects preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships across commercial, legal, engineering, and supplier teams preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment preferred
