About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary Power segment contact for Investor Relations
- Lead preparation of Q&A responses aligned with segment data and strategy
- Digitize and automate manual Excel-based collection processes
- Provide strategic ad hoc analytics as CFO analyst
- Lead recurring operational and financial activities, including monthly commentary synthesis and executive leadership communications
- Support Budget & Strategy planning and close cycles
- Provide financial modelling updates for the Strat 360 journey
- Lead close activities, including Gas Power data requests, margin walks, and supplemental financial reporting
- Lead segment-wide transformation projects involving LBR, operational hierarchy transitions, Nuclear/Hydro BAM, and Workday Tier 3/4 updates
- Liaise with Business Lines finance teams and drive adoption of new reporting standards
- Manage deployment lifecycles for financial tools and execute change management plans
- Maintain controllership and financial compliance with GE Vernova policies and internal controls
- Coach and develop finance professionals
- Lead ad hoc initiatives including Direct Air Capture, Enterprise Risk Management, and Pricing Steering Committee support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 7 years of finance experience of increasing responsibility
- Experience leading people preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to partner/push an operating team
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
