About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead import, export, domestic, and international logistics operations across Latin America, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for customs processes, managing critical escalations, risk mitigation, and resolution of customs clearance and transportation challenges
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring key performance indicators, logistics costs, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Manage relationships and performance of customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers across the region
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Projects, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure effective planning and execution of logistics and customs activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Solid experience with customs operations, international trade, import/export activities, and international logistics across Latin America
- Previous experience with customs and logistics processes in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and preferably Venezuela
- Advanced knowledge of customs regulations, special customs regimes, international trade documentation, Incoterms, and logistics provider management
- Advanced English, Portuguese, and Spanish language skills
