About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary Power segment contact for Investor Relations
Lead preparation of Q&A responses aligned with segment data and strategy
Digitize and automate manual Excel-based processes to improve data integrity and speed
Provide CFO analyst support and strategic ad hoc analytics
Lead recurring operational and financial activities for the Power segment
Coordinate monthly commentary synthesis, Executive Leadership Team letters, calendars, and communications
Support Budget & Strategy planning and close cycles
Provide financial modelling updates for the Strat 360 journey
Lead and support close activities, including data requests, margin walks, and supplemental financial reporting
Lead segment-wide transformation projects involving Ledger Base Reporting, operational hierarchy transitions, Nuclear/Hydro BAM, and Workday updates
Liaise with Business Lines finance teams and support adoption of new reporting standards
Drive digital and process transformation across the global finance organization
Secure stakeholder buy-in and manage deployment lifecycles for financial tools
Execute change management plans to maximize end-user adoption and efficiency
Maintain controllership and financial compliance with GE Vernova policies and internal controls
Coach and develop finance professionals
Lead ad hoc initiatives including Direct Air Capture, Enterprise Risk Management, and Pricing Steering Committee activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 7 years of finance experience of increasing responsibility
Experience leading people preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to partner/push an operating team
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
