About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage activities related to construction, building, and commissioning at customer sites
- Support work from site mobilization through civil, erection, and commissioning activities
- Supervise installation and construction operations, including civil, erection, and mechanical/electrical installation
- Lead others directly or indirectly and manage subcontractors
- Execute technical field tasks and standard operational/technical activities
- Resolve technical issues within established procedures and consult senior team members when needed
- Build customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE
- Explain technical information to others
- Collaborate with other teams and contribute to the broader business area
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Project Management & Installation & Construction
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
