About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, implement, and drive Global Standards across the Americas region for commercial finance activities
- Build standard regional processes aligned to global ITR organizations
- Provide end-to-end financial leadership for the Americas commercial pipeline, including LTSA, transactional sales, parts, repairs, and upgrade programs
- Act as gatekeeper for Delegation of Authority and ensure competitive, strategically aligned deal structures meeting profitability and risk thresholds
- Lead sophisticated financial modeling for FX strategies, tax/billing, and cross-border risk
- Advise the GM and leadership on market positioning, pricing, and geopolitical/economic risks
- Partner with commercial teams to articulate service, upgrade, and market value propositions
- Lead and simplify Inquiry-to-Order processes with robust underwriting and risk/return frameworks
- Define and execute operating rhythms including MOR, Hoshin, and Bowler processes
- Oversee budgeting, operating plans, KPIs, and leading indicators
- Partner with IT and operational leadership on automation, process optimization, and reporting/performance systems
- Liaise between Commercial, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to validate cost assumptions and resource requirements
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize cash, profitability, and fleet risk management
- Manage centralized reporting and productivity metrics
- Influence stakeholders at all organizational levels by communicating complex financial concepts clearly
Requirements
What you’ll need- For roles in USA: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited university
- For roles in USA: At least 8 years of experience specifically in Commercial Finance
- For roles outside the USA: Significant experience in Finance & Commercial Finance Management
- For roles outside the USA: Knowledge level comparable to a master’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
- Experience navigating financial and cultural complexities across regions
- Expertise in structuring complex, high-value deals and solving problems across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure during critical deal cycles
- Experience leveraging data sets and contemporary tools for commercial performance visibility
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Preferred graduation from finance management leadership programs such as FMP or OFLP/CAS
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
