About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the GSC Strategy Executive to develop, operationalize, and execute strategic priorities across Global Supply Chain Strategy
- Drive team productivity and operating effectiveness using Lean methodologies, process improvement, automation, analytics, and AI tools
- Develop and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and management systems
- Establish standard work, visual management, operating rhythms, and streamlined workflows
- Identify execution barriers and facilitate cross-functional problem solving
- Lead process improvements across interconnected organizations to improve data quality, data flow, transparency, and information sharing
- Measure, consolidate, and report benefits across commodities, including cost, cash, contribution margin, productivity, and CapEx
- Interface with business and enterprise functions to articulate supply chain impact of cost-out, productivity, and transformation initiatives
- Use AI and digital tools to automate analysis, synthesize data, simplify reporting, identify insights, and improve organizational productivity
- Own and execute special projects and strategic imperatives in nuanced or emerging areas
- Drive standardization and repeatable measurement methodologies across commodities and initiatives
- Develop concise, fact-based analyses, scenarios, and recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage multiple high-priority initiatives independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environment
- Report directly to the Executive GSC Strategy Leader across all Power products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- 6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Lean, Manufacturing, Strategy, Program Management, or Operational Excellence
- Experience applying Lean and process-improvement methodologies to complex business or operational problems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Experience leading cross-functional projects through influence, including stakeholders outside the direct organization
- Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication with senior leaders
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and create structure around complex or loosely defined problems
- Understanding of global supply chain and manufacturing operations, particularly in complex industrial or engineered-product environments
- Lean expertise in standard work, visual management, value-stream/process mapping, problem solving, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
- Experience developing and managing operational dashboards, KPIs, benefit-tracking mechanisms, and executive-level reporting
- Financial acumen covering cost, cash, contribution margin, CapEx, productivity, and business-case development
- Ability to leverage AI, automation, analytics, and digital tools
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
