About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape the future of GE Vernova's global supply chain at enterprise scale
- Define the next-generation supply chain view supporting operational and competitive excellence across Gas Power and GE Vernova
- Own future-state Make-Buy, footprint, technology, and capacity decisions for generators, components, and services
- Lead commodity strategy decisions spanning technology, product configuration, and standardization
- Determine optimal value-chain positioning for customer impact
- Develop inventory strategies optimizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles
- Influence delivery, quality, new product introduction, lead time, cost, and margin for new units and services
- Act as a change agent and strategic architect
- Lead cross-functional projects and drive results through influence across the organization
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage multiple high-priority workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Lean, Manufacturing, Strategy, Program Management, Operational Excellence, Business, Finance, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience in a comparable field
- 6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Lean, Manufacturing, Strategy, Program Management, or Operational Excellence
- Demonstrated experience applying Lean and process-improvement methodologies to complex business or operational challenges
- Strong analytical skills, including synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results through influence
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing and managing operational dashboards, KPIs, benefit-tracking tools, and executive-level reporting
- Lean expertise including standard work, visual management, value-stream mapping, Kaizen, and continuous improvement
- Financial acumen involving cost, cash, contribution margin, CapEx, productivity metrics, and business-case development
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools applied to organizational productivity and decision-making
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
