About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage customer orders from entry through delivery
  • Oversee the order portfolio, delivery dates, and backlog
  • Identify risks and coordinate action plans to secure deliveries
  • Lead and optimize the Master Production Schedule based on demand, capacity, and industrial constraints
  • Translate customer requirements into a realistic and optimized production schedule
  • Prioritize commitments based on customer commitments, production capacity, and material availability
  • Contribute to the S&OP / IBP process and provide visibility into priorities, capacity, risks, and action plans
  • Supervise, support, and lead a small Customer Order Management / Scheduling team
  • Develop team capabilities, set objectives, and monitor performance
  • Ensure the accuracy of data, delivery dates, and planning parameters in the ERP system
  • Monitor and improve OTD, backlog, and overdue-order KPIs
  • Collaborate with Segment, Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance teams
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for customer order management and planning processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree plus five years of higher education (engineering degree or specialized Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Management)
  • At least five years of experience in an industrial environment, with proven expertise in customer order management, order administration, or production planning
  • Proficiency in an ERP system required; SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of MRP, MPS, S&OP, and capacity management
  • Fluent French required
  • Fluent English required
  • Previous team-management experience, or demonstrated ability to coordinate and develop team members
  • Ability to listen, motivate, delegate, and manage challenging situations within an operational team
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to unite teams and stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong customer focus and ability to balance customer expectations with operational constraints
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Very strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Continuous-improvement mindset and knowledge of Lean tools
  • APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP) preferred
