About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Head a team within GE Gas Power's GSC Sourcing Finance organization
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to drive cost reduction, cash flow improvement, fulfillment, and quality performance
  • Partner with the GP Sourcing Leader, Sourcing CFO, and GSC CFO to optimize sourcing costs, manage direct spend, drive deflation, and improve working capital
  • Plan, forecast, report, analyze, and influence inflation/deflation and PPV for direct material product commodities
  • Act as a strategic consultant to sourcing and partner with factory finance and procurement teams
  • Support strategic supplier negotiations and develop supplier partnerships to drive productivity, deflation, and cash flow optimization
  • Lead sourcing analytics and metric reporting, including direct material deflation, accounts payable days, and supplier terms
  • Partner with ITR teams through the escalation process and lead escalation process automation and AI projects
  • Oversee planning and forecasting for more than $10B in sourcing spend, including LRF, budget, monthly, and quarterly cycles
  • Align financial reporting with operational and business dynamics in collaboration with Sourcing CFO, Sourcing GMs, and GSC FP&A
  • Oversee working capital optimization, disbursement forecasting, supplier payment terms, and SCF programs
  • Coordinate with AP operations, banks, suppliers, legal teams, and sourcing leadership
  • Implement lean standard work, digitized solutions, and continuous improvement across sourcing finance processes
  • Influence strategy, resource control, policy formulation, and decisions within the discipline
  • Lead functional teams or moderately complex projects and provide strategic advice to management
  • Exercise high-level judgment, assess information quality, ask critical questions, and develop innovative solutions
  • Support finance transformation by automating, outsourcing, and streamlining processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, accounting, economics topics or related field
  • Major experience in finance
  • Fluency in English
  • Supply chain / materials finance experience
  • People Leader experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Demonstrated success working with cross functional teams

  • Advanced experience of Microsoft suite
