About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Multi-Year Agreement life extension pipeline from idea to launch
- Deliver significant annual backlog cost reduction for the MYA/Services business
- Apply mechanical design fundamentals, statistics, and failure-mode analysis to evaluate risk versus reward
- Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to improve MYA data quality and streamline risk evaluation workflows
- Lead cross-functional reviews with the Chief Engineering Office using digital modeling tools and data-backed productivity cases
- Collaborate with engineering teams to manage creep programs
- Influence the transition toward Systems-as-a-Service digital maintenance models
- Foster continuous improvement and ensure technical documentation and risk assessments align with Engineer 2030 digital-first standards
- Collaborate across NPI, Module Engineering, Reliability, and Repair to scale and automate engineering processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering preferred
- For U.S.-based roles: minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in gas turbine design, operation, or repair processes
- For roles outside the USA: proven hands-on experience in gas turbine design, operation, or repair processes
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional engineering programs from concept to implementation
- Experience with data analytics, automation scripting such as Python or SQL, or AI/ML-driven modeling
- Ability to present data-backed technical business cases to leadership resulting in documented process improvements or cost-reduction initiatives
- Proven history of meeting aggressive project timelines while maintaining high quality standards
- Familiarity with lifecycle management and operation/maintenance of heavy-duty gas turbine equipment
- Experience applying Systems Engineering methodologies to large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
- Experience applying digital tools such as Python, advanced statistical software, or predictive maintenance platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring others in new technologies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information; applicable offers are contingent on authorization from the U.S. Government
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
