About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop a team of Tier 1 Insights Engineers
Drive daily operations across proactive monitoring, insight generation, and customer trip response activities
Ensure high standards of technical quality, consistency, and adherence to standard work
Partner with Customer Service Engineering and Regional Services teams to improve customer responsiveness, recommendation implementation, and last-mile closure
Use operational metrics and continuous improvement principles to enhance team performance and customer outcomes
Champion Lean, Daily Management, problem solving, and a culture of continuous improvement
Support the development of future technical experts and leaders within Monitoring & Diagnostics and Services Engineering
Identify fleet risks early and ensure rapid response to customer events
Translate technical insights into actions that improve reliability and availability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
8+ years of engineering, diagnostics, services, monitoring, or related experience
Demonstrated people leadership or team leadership experience
Experience working in a matrixed engineering environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Monitoring & Diagnostics experience preferred
Customer Service Engineering experience preferred
Gas Turbine or power plant operational knowledge preferred
Lean leadership and Daily Management experience preferred
Experience developing engineers and technical talent preferred
Power BI, analytics, AI/LLM, and workflow management tool experience preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
