About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop a team of Tier 1 Insights Engineers
  • Drive daily operations across proactive monitoring, insight generation, and customer trip response activities
  • Ensure high standards of technical quality, consistency, and adherence to standard work
  • Partner with Customer Service Engineering and Regional Services teams to improve customer responsiveness, recommendation implementation, and last-mile closure
  • Use operational metrics and continuous improvement principles to enhance team performance and customer outcomes
  • Champion Lean, Daily Management, problem solving, and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support the development of future technical experts and leaders within Monitoring & Diagnostics and Services Engineering
  • Identify fleet risks early and ensure rapid response to customer events
  • Translate technical insights into actions that improve reliability and availability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of engineering, diagnostics, services, monitoring, or related experience
  • Demonstrated people leadership or team leadership experience
  • Experience working in a matrixed engineering environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Monitoring & Diagnostics experience preferred
  • Customer Service Engineering experience preferred
  • Gas Turbine or power plant operational knowledge preferred
  • Lean leadership and Daily Management experience preferred
  • Experience developing engineers and technical talent preferred
  • Power BI, analytics, AI/LLM, and workflow management tool experience preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
