About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the regional contract management strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and legal risks across the project portfolio
- Provide guidance on complex disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure, and termination scenarios
- Shape commercial positioning from tender stage through project close-out
- Ensure flow down of terms to suppliers, contractors, and partners
- Lead identification, negotiation, and resolution of high-value offensive and defensive claims
- Use delay, disruption, and quantum assessment methodologies to build claim positions
- Coordinate with Legal and project teams on mediation, arbitration, and litigation
- Mentor and develop the Regional Contract Management Team
- Define performance goals and manage staffing needs
- Ensure workload optimization
- Enforce standard work practices and quality procedures
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen
- Capture lessons learned to drive commercial excellence
- Report directly to the Regional Contract Management Leader
- Hold overall accountability for contractual activities across the Datacenter FTM, Utilities, O&G, and FACTS portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in large, complex infrastructure projects
- Experience in Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction
- Demonstrated success managing the full lifecycle of complex claims
- Experience leading high-stakes negotiations
- Extensive experience with FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or bespoke contracts
- Proven track record in regional or functional leadership
- Experience managing professional teams
- Professional fluency in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- French would be a plus
