About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support all stages of the project lifecycle from early customer engagement and proposal development through delivery, testing, acceptance, and handover
Support technical proposals and define delivery approaches during sales and tendering
Help prepare Statements of Work and other project-related documentation
Lead technical delivery of enterprise software deployments in customer environments
Coordinate software deployment, configuration, testing, and technical readiness activities
Collaborate directly with customers to understand their environments, communicate progress, and manage technical expectations
Identify and resolve software, infrastructure, operating system, network, and integration issues during deployment
Collaborate with Product Development, Tendering, and Support teams
Provide updates on technical progress, risks, and issues to the wider project team
Support scope, risk, and problem management with the Project Manager
Lead customer training, system walkthroughs, and user readiness activities
Support and participate in customer acceptance testing and validation/sign-off
Contribute to continuous improvement in delivery methods, quality, and efficiency
Support handover to maintenance and support teams at project completion
Serve as an escalation point for maintenance and support teams
Travel globally, including short-notice travel, to meet customers and support on-site deployments and issue resolution, up to 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline, such as Computer Science, IT Networking, or Software Development, or equivalent relevant experience
5 years of experience with software delivery projects using Linux and Windows and other technologies related to grid software
Experience with grid software such as WAMS, EMS, DMS, DERMS, or similar
Experience dealing directly with customers in a technical delivery, deployment, or support environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Ability and willingness to travel globally, sometimes at short notice
Experience with Kubernetes
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
