About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with deadlines, contractual requirements, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with site and construction managers on the sequential planning of activities, ensuring the availability of the required workforce, tools, and resources
  • Monitor the competence and performance of contractors, ensuring that execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding personnel and equipment
  • Maintain up-to-date control of technical drawings and documents, issuing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and coordinating technical solutions with engineering teams
  • Deliver training to client teams on system operation and provide ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process
  • Promote process analysis and share lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnology, or related fields
  • Previous experience as a turbine assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants
  • Intermediate English is a plus
  • Intermediate Spanish
  • Willingness and availability for frequent international and domestic travel and travel to project sites
