About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate execution of Business Line long-term AI strategy plans
Partner with four business lines to clear execution obstacles and ensure access to necessary support and resources
Establish the cadence of AI delivery through regular reviews, progress tracking, and feedback loops
Lead development of standards, tools, shared platforms, and governance foundations for AI delivery
Balance rapid delivery with high-quality and reliable output through clear ways of working
Embed Responsible AI and security practices into workflows from the outset
Oversee the AI portfolio to maintain alignment with enterprise priorities and focus on high-return initiatives
Guide the transition toward a sustainable, business-led AI delivery model for 2030
Lead workforce upskilling and AI adoption efforts in coordination with ELEC HR, GE Vernova Corporate Learning, the ELEC CTO office, and Business Line AI teams
Design and adapt training programs addressing ELEC teams’ missions and practical needs
Build targeted AI literacy and specialized expertise across the workforce

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong and proven leadership experience in operations, program management, or technical strategy, ideally within a large, global matrixed organization
Solid grasp of the AI/ML landscape and the lifecycle of AI solutions, from data preparation to production and monitoring
Proven success in leading large-scale organizational shifts and sustaining engagement across diverse teams
Exceptional ability to build, manage, and refine business operating cadence, track metrics, manage budgets, and maintain project momentum
Demonstrated expertise bridging technical teams and business stakeholders and translating technical requirements into business value
Strong track record partnering with HR and Learning & Development functions to design curriculum or enablement programs
Ability to drive behavioral change through upskilling and enablement
Ability to achieve alignment across different business lines without direct line authority
Pragmatic approach to compliance and ethics and ability to integrate guardrails into development processes
