About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the assembly and installation of electrical Balance of Plant (BOPe) systems at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with schedules, contractual requirements, and quality standards
- Collaborate with site and construction managers on the sequential planning of activities, ensuring the availability of the required workforce, tools, and resources
- Monitor the competency and performance of subcontractors, ensuring execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines
- Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding personnel and equipment
- Keep drawings and technical documents up to date, issuing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and coordinating technical solutions with engineering teams
- Provide customer teams with training on system operation and offer ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process
- Promote process analysis and the sharing of lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or a related field
- Previous experience as a BOPe assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants
- Intermediate English is a plus
- Intermediate Spanish
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently both internationally and domestically, including travel to project sites
