About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and monitor the detailed installation plan, defining sequential assembly work orders in collaboration with the Site Manager and Construction Manager
- Anticipate bottlenecks and ensure strict compliance with deadlines and milestones
- Ensure the availability of labor, tools, equipment, and materials
- Supervise receiving and storage logistics, keeping the site supplied in accordance with the plan
- Monitor subcontractor progress by comparing planned versus actual performance
- Report KPIs and manage risks that may impact the project schedule
- Ensure the use of the latest design revisions (Issued for Construction)
- Support the management of non-conformities (NCRs) from a schedule-impact perspective and coordinate solutions with Engineering and Management
- Analyze field operations feedback and refine future plans
- Promote a lessons-learned culture and convert overcome challenges into productivity standards
- Integrate HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines into every phase of the schedule, prioritizing safety and asset protection
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrotechnical fields, or a completed university degree in Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience managing planning for electromechanical construction projects, especially hydroelectric power plants and small hydropower plants (SHPs)
- Advanced proficiency in planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent software
- Intermediate English is a plus
- Advanced Spanish, including technical translation and the ability to communicate in meetings
- Availability for frequent domestic and international travel and relocation to project sites
