About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with schedules, contractual requirements, and quality standards
- Collaborate with Site and Construction Managers to plan the sequence of activities, ensuring the availability of the required workforce, tools, and resources
- Monitor the competence and performance of contractors, ensuring execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding personnel and equipment
- Maintain up-to-date control of drawings and technical documents, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating technical solutions with engineering teams
- Conduct training for customer teams on system operation and provide ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process
- Promote process reviews and share lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or a related field
- Previous experience supervising generator assembly at hydroelectric power plants
- Intermediate English is a plus
- Intermediate Spanish
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently domestically and internationally and to work at project sites
