About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with schedules, contractual requirements, and quality standards;
Collaborate with site and construction managers on the sequential planning of activities, ensuring the availability of the required workforce, tools, and resources;
Monitor the competence and performance of subcontractors, ensuring that execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines;
Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding the well-being of personnel and the integrity of equipment;
Maintain up-to-date control of drawings and technical documents, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate technical solutions with the engineering teams;
Conduct training for client teams on system operation and provide ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process;
Promote process analysis and the sharing of lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or related fields;
Previous experience as a turbine assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants;
Intermediate English is a plus;
Intermediate Spanish;
Availability for frequent international and domestic travel and assignment to project sites.
