About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring compliance with schedules, contractual requirements, and quality standards;
  • Collaborate with site and construction managers on the sequential planning of activities, ensuring the availability of the required workforce, tools, and resources;
  • Monitor the competence and performance of subcontractors, ensuring that execution strictly follows procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines;
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations, safeguarding the well-being of personnel and the integrity of equipment;
  • Maintain up-to-date control of drawings and technical documents, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate technical solutions with the engineering teams;
  • Conduct training for client teams on system operation and provide ongoing technical support during and after the assembly process;
  • Promote process analysis and the sharing of lessons learned with the engineering team to optimize future operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or related fields;
  • Previous experience as a turbine assembly supervisor at hydroelectric power plants;
  • Intermediate English is a plus;
  • Intermediate Spanish;
  • Availability for frequent international and domestic travel and assignment to project sites.
