About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during pre-sales by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound products, potential uses, capabilities, and benefits
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based customer system training
  • Monitor and report training outcomes
  • Serve as a Point of Care Ultrasound subject matter expert and clinical liaison to sales
  • Strengthen clinical capabilities, customer relationships, and business opportunities
  • Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate market intelligence to the business
  • Advance new product features and clinical techniques
  • Develop customer training plans and strategies for new product assimilation and ongoing training
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences through product demonstrations and customer training
  • Identify customer satisfaction issues and assist with escalations, problem determination, and specialty training requests
  • Develop customer relationships, standardize and optimize protocols, and support clinical education initiatives
  • Promote hybrid training delivery for customers
  • Maintain pre- and post-training documentation
  • Follow Quality Management System and EHS processes and policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Live in the Houston, TX territory
  • Associate degree or equivalent and 3+ years of technical/clinical industry experience
  • Two ARDMS certifications
  • One ARDMS certification must be Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
  • Skilled in 2D, Doppler, and color flow imaging
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and process implementation
  • Experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging for different audiences
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking, and IT
  • Willingness to travel extensively 75–90+% (4–5 days per week, including overnights and some weekends) within the US using car, air travel, and train
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
  • Ability to comply with customer vaccination mandates where applicable
