About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage customer-level allocation strategies across customers, distributors, and channel partners
  • Monitor allocation-plan execution, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions
  • Refine allocation models with Demand Planning, Commercial, and Finance teams
  • Own operational relationships with wholesaler partners and align priorities, expectations, and issue resolution
  • Lead recurring operating calls with key distribution partners
  • Track and analyze inventory metrics including Days on Hand, fill rate, and stock positioning
  • Identify and mitigate inventory risks such as imbalances, excess inventory, shortages, and allocation leakage
  • Oversee order management for accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with allocation strategy
  • Monitor shipment performance and resolve fulfillment exceptions
  • Lead resolution of operational issues including backorder management and order-accuracy challenges
  • Standardize and improve processes for customer experience, efficiency, and scalability
  • Coordinate communications and cross-functional responses for recalls, supply disruptions, and critical events
  • Develop and maintain a Channel Partners Operations Playbook with contacts, escalation pathways, SOPs, and partner requirements
  • Lead periodic wholesaler business reviews
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track fill rate, inventory health, and allocation adherence
  • Drive accountability through performance discussions and action plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, distribution, or commercial operations
  • Proven experience managing external partners such as wholesalers, distributors, and vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional processes
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and ability to operate independently
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred
  • Expertise in allocation planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes preferred
  • Experience leading business reviews and driving partner performance management preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel, SAP/S4, Power BI, and ERP platforms preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
