About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategic financial partner for two L2 senior executive leaders’ staffs
- Full cost ownership for AIML and DHS accountabilities
- Responsible for accurate books and records including financial, management, and program/project accounting
- Drive controllership throughout operating team
- Provide financial analysis, insight, and expertise in support of business decision making needs
- Partner and guide business partners to prioritize investments
- Develop and manage Return on Investment & Intrinsic Cost Productivity processes
- Leverage technology to streamline and automate processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 7 years financial work experience
- Proven communication skills
- Experience with financial systems/applications
- Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (desired)
- Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) or other financial leadership programs (desired)
