Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer of GE Healthcare
Lead Global Electronics and High Tech Procurement team of 40+ people across $1 billion in spend and 500+ suppliers
Lead, coach, mentor a global team of 40+ people
Formulate 1-3-5-year strategy for all sub-categories
Develop strategic supplier relationships
Drive product costs down by 5%+ year over year
Demonstrating deep understanding of markets for categories managed
Lead, facilitate and participate in cross-functional teams for design improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of Sourcing experience
7+ leading large global category management teams
BS/BA from accredited college or university required; MBA preferred
Engineering &/or Business background preferred
Deep category and domain knowledge in Electronics, High Tech, EMS, Semi-conductors required
Proven leadership ability of Global Categories
Proven ability in building world class strategic category management teams
Proven ability to effectively communicate at a board level, internal and external c-suite level
Ability to manage global, remote and virtual teams.
