About the role
- Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment
- Assist customers in the use of instruments and systems; provide educational programs for customers as required
- Train customers on the use of computerized systems; troubleshoot customer complaints and perform necessary repairs
- Work with service engineering team members and other staff to develop effective solutions for complex customer requirements
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Conduct intake meetings at customer sites to understand needs, establish service plans, set expectations, and ensure follow-through
- Coordinate and manage multiple priorities to complete assigned tasks within established timeframes
- Utilize data analysis skills to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities
- Leverage knowledge base to solve customer challenges
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and decision making abilities
- Maintain appropriate documentation for services performed
Requirements
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
- 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
