About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, perform repair and planned maintenance (PM) on basic biomedical equipment
drive customer satisfaction through Service Excellence
support customers in hospitals and clinical settings
document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule
maintain approved parts inventory
manage vendor's service delivery processes in compliance with GEHC policies
enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

AS, BS degree, military education, certificate program, current student with less than 12 months from completion OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 months experience servicing electronic, IT or mechanical equipment.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
High school diploma/GED with demonstrated work experience, or a completed AS or BS degree strongly preferred.
Experience in customer facing role(s).
Experience interfacing both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.
Knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
Strong customer communication skills.
Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy-to-understand manner.
