About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system in Broward County, FL.
Evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance on biomedical equipment.
Provide service excellence to drive customer satisfaction.
Work onsite at customer location(s).
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols.
Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers.
Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship, Apprenticeship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 2 years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro-mechanical devices.
Experience interpreting schematic diagrams.
Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs. unassisted.
