Biomedical Equipment Technician II

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system
- Evaluate, diagnose, and perform repair and planned maintenance on biomedical equipment
- Provide onsite customer support
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols
- Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers
- Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience servicing medical equipment or equivalent military education and experience
- Mechanical and/or electrical experience
- Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic and electro-mechanical devices
- Experience interpreting schematic diagrams
- Ability to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
- Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
