About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, manage, and elevate strong relationships with distribution partners
- Influence, motivate, and guide distributor sales agents to execute strategic priorities
- Assess partner capabilities, identify performance gaps, and implement development plans
- Lead joint business planning, including forecasting, territory coverage, and market expansion
- Drive sales through and with partners by providing strategic direction and ongoing commercial support
- Ensure distributors are fully equipped with product knowledge and selling tools
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends
- Develop deep expertise in the ultrasound product portfolio and customer segments
- Maintain understanding of territory dynamics and healthcare market trends
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Partner closely with marketing, product management, service, and finance teams
- Provide feedback from the field to support product enhancements and marketing campaigns
- Operate within established commercial frameworks while exercising sound judgment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in sales)
- Must live in the territory (MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
