About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership for the deployment of a new Digital CORE - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system across all GEHC Segments
Define and manage system-level requirements, aligning cross-segment teams to ensure business and technical needs are captured
Develop integration and test plans, resolving technical conflicts through expert guidance
Create efficient new standard processes while maximizing off-the-shelf capabilities of the future PLM tool
Collaborate with engineering, IT, product management, operations, and executive leadership to define requirements, manage conflicts, and drive consensus
Lead workshops to map current and future-state processes, ensuring PLM workflows reflect standardized practices across functions
Lead transformation of CAD integration and data management within PLM to eliminate manual handoffs
Drive item management and BOM transformation for EBOM–MBOM alignment
Lead the development and capture of standardized work processes across existing PLM system functional areas leveraging pre-existing PLM capabilities
Develop integration plans for connecting the PLM system with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CAD, MES)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years of experience in engineering technical leadership
Proven experience and strong understanding of requirements formulation, capture and use of management tools (e.g., DOORs, JAMA, MFALM)
Proven experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA)
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Desired)
10+ years of experience in complex, cross functional, engineering technical leadership, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system implementation (Desired)
Experience in new PLM work system development and transition (Desired)
Experience in adapting existing work system processes to leverage the off-the-shelf capabilities of new SW tools (Desired)
Strong understanding of product development processes, BOM management, configuration control, and change management (Desired)
Experience in a regulated, multi-product, multi-tier, global supply chain and manufacturing environment (Desired)
Strong oral and written communication skills (Desired)
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills (Desired)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems (Desired)
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects (Desired)
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs (Desired)
