About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform calibration & service on medical equipment.
  • Lead and be the Subject Matter Expert on calibration of IGS Systems and Upgrades.
  • Act as the primary GE HealthCare face to the customer throughout the calibration phase.
  • Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot vascular equipment during installation phase.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and keep up to date on administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment.
  • Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to be available "after hours", or work a rotating On-Call schedule, including weekends, for critical issues and coverage, as necessary.
  • Up to 85% travel required. Dependent on geographical location or the need of the business.
