About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- drive customer satisfaction through service excellence by leading and executing remote installations, configurations, and initial system enablement for GE HealthCare digital solutions
- partner closely with Field Engineers (FEs), Remote Project Managers, Clinical Applications teams, and customers
- ensure systems are installed correctly, validated, and ready for clinical use while minimizing the need for onsite presence
- provide end-to-end ownership of installation workflows, documentation, and technical readiness
- contribute to the continuous improvement of remote installation tools, documentation, and workflows
- act as a change agent for the remote installation strategy
- identify and escalate installation-related quality issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of field service experience
- High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience servicing mechanical and/or electrical equipment, OR Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR Equivalent military education (Associate’s or Bachelor’s level) with 3+ years of experience servicing mechanical and/or electrical equipment
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Willingness to support limited after-hours work for customers who cannot accommodate downtime during standard business hours.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
