About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform repairs and technical service activities related to inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance for the installed equipment fleet
  • Carry out specialized technical field activities that may include advanced diagnostics, in accordance with completed certifications and training
  • Ensure service execution to high quality standards, strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs), internal policies and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements
  • Complete technical, regulatory and quality trainings in a timely and disciplined manner, applying acquired knowledge to ensure consistency, safety and field excellence
  • Accurately and promptly manage administrative responsibilities, including service reports, customer records and internal documentation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues following established procedures and applying structured analysis; timely escalate cases that exceed defined parameters, collaborating with supervisors and senior technical staff
  • Develop and apply a solid conceptual knowledge of the professional discipline, integrating hands-on experience with business understanding and awareness of service impact on the customer
  • Actively collaborate with internal teams and serve as an effective liaison between the customer and GE HealthCare, communicating clearly, professionally and solution-oriented
  • Keep tools and test equipment calibrated, certified and in optimal condition, ensuring operational rigor in all interventions
  • Work with a continuous improvement mindset, contributing to equipment reliability, reduction of rework and strengthening customer loyalty to the brand

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical service, preferably on medical equipment or complex electronic systems
  • Advanced technical English, both spoken and written
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Availability to work extended hours as required by service needs
  • Strong focus on customer service, quality and process compliance
  • Valid U.S. visa
