About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain diagnostic imaging (DI) systems in Slovakia, primarily focusing on X-ray and surgical systems
- Perform system-level troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom issues
- Interface daily with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status
- Assist the sales team during customer visits, providing technical insights and identifying sales opportunities
- Contribute to the development and direction of the business in the Slovak region
- Complete all administrative tasks on time, including documentation for FMIs and PMS inspections
- Support complex installations in multifunctional rooms
- Share best practices and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality standards
- Ensure service quality across the Slovak team and help identify training needs for colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, and radio engineering
- Understanding of magnetic field physics, X-ray, and ultrasound technologies
- Strong technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Fluent in Slovak and proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Slovakia
