About the role
- Negotiate with dedicated EMS providers according to specific policies
- Achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
- Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of EMS owned Suppliers
- Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers
- Manage claims and include commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support
- Maximize cost savings and drive value through supplier innovation
- Proactively identify supply-chain disruptions, anticipate risks, and build mitigation strategies
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience)
- Significant knowledge of Electronics and EMS supplier sourcing
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Established project management skills
