About the role

  • Develop and execute global sourcing and procurement strategies for capital investments
  • Drive end to end category strategy, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key business stakeholders
  • Provide leadership to a small, high performing team
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality compliance
  • Conduct market and industry research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis
  • Drive initiatives focused on cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainability
  • Monitor category performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
  • Support and contribute to global and regional sourcing programs and strategic projects

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Sourcing or Category Management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university plus at least eight years of experience in Sourcing Category Management in equipment and construction
  • Proven track record in Indirect Sourcing, including capital equipment, services, or related categories
  • Proven experience leading global sourcing and category management activities
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, including SOWs, pricing structures, and supplier agreements
  • Demonstrated people‑leadership experience
  • Strong ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Proficiency in developing complex RFx packages, should‑cost models, scorecards, and award criteria
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Strong technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in English with other languages a plus.
