About the role
- Provide technical leadership for the deployment of a new Digital CORE - Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system across all GEHC Segments.
- Define and manage system-level requirements and align cross-segment teams to capture business and technical needs.
- Develop integration and test plans and resolve technical conflicts through expert guidance.
- Lead the system design, documentation, and delivery of the PLM platform standard work.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, product management, operations, and executive leadership to define requirements, manage conflicts, and drive consensus.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate all PLM requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Lead workshops to map current and future-state processes, ensuring PLM workflows reflect standardized practices.
- Oversee data cleansing, mapping, verification and validation during migration.
- Lead transformation of CAD integration and data management to eliminate manual handoffs.
- Drive item management and BOM transformation for EBOM–MBOM alignment.
- Advance product configuration digitization to ensure accurate structures and rules for variants.
- Develop integration plans for connecting the PLM system with other enterprise platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in engineering technical leadership.
- Proven experience and strong understanding of requirements formulation, capture and use of management tools (e.g., DOORs, JAMA, MFALM)
- Proven experience in PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (desired).
- 10+ years of experience in complex, cross-functional, engineering technical leadership, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system implementation (desired).
- Experience in new PLM work system development and transition (desired).
- Experience in adapting existing work system processes to leverage the off-the-shelf capabilities of new SW tools (desired).
- Strong understanding of product development processes, BOM management, configuration control, and change management (desired).
- Experience in a regulated, multi-product, multi-tier, global supply chain and manufacturing environment (desired).
- Strong oral and written communication skills (desired).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills (desired).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems (desired).
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects (desired).
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs (desired).
- Established project management skills (desired).
