About the role

  • Oversee the strategic direction of GE HealthCare's Americas Medical Affairs cardiology related activities
  • Lead development and implementation of the overall medical strategy for GEHC’s cardiology products
  • Serve as a leader in aggregating scientific, clinical, and technical insights
  • Drive scientific exchange related to GEHC’s products
  • Identify external clinical opinions, perceptions and trends
  • Provide medical leadership to cross-functional brand and product teams
  • Engage key scientific societies to enhance corporate image
  • Establish and drive a scientific agenda by engaging researchers

Requirements

  • Graduate degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of seven years of related experience
  • Strong research and operational understanding of healthcare trends related to GEHC’s imaging products
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Knowledge of applicable compliance standards, laws and regulations governing research practices
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic and confident team player with attention to detail
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, solution and action oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and manage uncertainty
  • Awareness of US healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care
  • Doctorate degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, etc.) preferred
