About the role
- Oversee the strategic direction of GE HealthCare's Americas Medical Affairs cardiology related activities
- Lead development and implementation of the overall medical strategy for GEHC’s cardiology products
- Serve as a leader in aggregating scientific, clinical, and technical insights
- Drive scientific exchange related to GEHC’s products
- Identify external clinical opinions, perceptions and trends
- Provide medical leadership to cross-functional brand and product teams
- Engage key scientific societies to enhance corporate image
- Establish and drive a scientific agenda by engaging researchers
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of seven years of related experience
- Strong research and operational understanding of healthcare trends related to GEHC’s imaging products
- Proven leadership skills
- Knowledge of applicable compliance standards, laws and regulations governing research practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic and confident team player with attention to detail
- Highly organized, self-motivated, solution and action oriented
- Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and manage uncertainty
- Awareness of US healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care
- Doctorate degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, etc.) preferred
